Keeping your program content fresh ensures accurate, trustworthy listings that convert better. Ensure listings include:
- Cover photo
- Photo carousel (5+ images), with the first as your feature photo, ideally with smiling students + location backdrop
- A video on your profile and each program listing
- Tags, About, and Highlights sections are accurate

🧠 Algorithm Fact: If a program has not been updated in 365 days a decay function starts to eat at its score.
🧠 Algorithm Fact: Programs with up-to-date Application and Program Dates receive a 10% boost in visibility.

- Optimize Your “Apply Now” Button.
On campaign plans, your program listings switch from “Request Info” --> "Visit Site" and "Apply Now" buttons for direct traffic to your site. Make sure "Apply Now" links to a landing page with a form above the fold so students can act immediately. If your application requires account login, link instead to an inquiry/lead capture form. Fewer clicks = more conversions.

Create “Visit Site” and “Apply Now” URLs for each program listing using the GA4 Campaign URL Builder to add UTM parameters so you can see how each click converts down your pipeline. Avoid relying solely on self-reported participant data, which can be biased.
