How the Job Board Works

At this point, you might have already learned the difference between program listings and job posts, but you want to know more in-depth how the job board works at Go Overseas.

Here's a recap of what job posts are for:

  • Ideal for a one-time need or immediate recruitment; to fill a vacancy
  • Includes a specific start date
  • Appear on the relevant job board (Teach, Work, Intern), at the top of specific country pages in chronological order based on the posting date, and on your Provider Organization page.
  • Use a credit system to post and repost; 1 job post = 1 credit. Credits start at $60 each or discounted if you purchase a package
  • Expires 90 days after posting.

The pricing for credits is as follows:

  • $60 for 1
  • $250 for 5
  • $400 for 10
  • $500 for a pinned job (see below for more info)

To post on the job boards, navigate to your Dashboard, then click on the "Job Board" heading.

On the Job Board Dashboard, you can see the options to purchase job board credits and create job posts. You can also see your Credit Count-- this will tell you how many credits you have left in your account.

In the "Job Listings" section, you can edit an existing post. If the post is not yet published, you can click "Post Ad" to launch it live on the website. If your listing is already published, the "Actions" section will give you the option to repost your ad.

Providers can also pin their job to the top of our job board, meaning it will remain in the first position for 30 days. Pinned job posts are $500 for 30 days. Contact support@gooverseas.com to add yours.
